KAIROS GmbH was founded in 2008 in Bochum, followed by offices in Berlin and Boston (USA). The basic idea was to develop a patient-centered system for treatment and research. For this reason, CentraXX was created as a biomedical research portal combining structured research content with the modules of biobanking and study management. Under the management of the managing partners Martin Zünkeler and Dr. Christian Stephan as well as the leading employees Dennis Spiegel (product management), Dr. Timothy Goering (project management) and Wolfgang Müller (support), the CentraXX product family currently serves 30 of 35 German university clinics as well as various long-term studies. As a comprehensive software solution, KAIROS can offer products such as CentraXX Bio (biobank system), CentraXX Trial (study management system) as well as the CentraXX Patient App and the CentraXX BoXX to create a knowledge wiring of research and treatment beyond the standardized HIS and CWS systems.
